Phase-change cooling,
explained.
Phase-change materials (PCMs) are substances that absorb and release thermal energy during the process of melting and freezing. When you sleep, your body temperature fluctuates — peaking around 2–3am for many women experiencing hormonal shifts.
Solène embeds micro-encapsulated PCM into the core layer of every sheet. When skin temperature exceeds 87°F, the capsules absorb excess heat. As you cool, they release stored thermal energy gradually — maintaining a stable microclimate between your body and the sheet.
400 TC bamboo viscose sateen
Organically grown, closed-loop processed. Naturally antibacterial and biodegradable. The sateen weave gives a cool-to-the-touch feel that cotton simply cannot replicate.
Micro-encapsulated phase-change material
Originally developed for NASA astronaut gloves. Each capsule is 2–30 micrometers — invisible to the touch, but capable of absorbing significant thermal energy during sleep.
